The ALM.

 

This is our family mountain hut in the North Italian Alps, and yes if you look closely, in the background you can see the beautiful 130 millions old Dolomites.

One of my forefathers, Hannes Defregger who was an artist too, built it in 1911. It is perched on a clearing with stunning views and with a spaciousness between centennial larch trees that make me swoon about eternity and fragility at the same time. A place full of tranquility and magic, a place where my soul can rest and I refresh my senses. A place that always leads me to the bottom of my heart and reminds me of my strengths, my wisdom, my love I have in life.

I am sure you have one of those places too in your life.
