Family Portrait Photographer Christchurch
That moment when your bigger brother “helps” you to smile for a family photo…
Brothers. They are pretty special.
When I photographed Oskar and Rupert the other day, I remembered again my childhood times with my older brother. And how grateful I am for all the times where we built dams in creeks, played board games forever, where he let me stay in his room when our parents where out. And I thought, isn’t it funny that we do not remember the painful times with our brothers that much, when they hurt us or annoyed us? No. We remember the good times, the singing in the car, playing instruments together, making jokes, enduring museums visits in holidays and hugging for a family photo. Just the good stuff.
Rupert, you will not remember this moment in time when your brother wanted to “help” you with a smile. You will only remember the belly laughter when he tried to tickle you with the oak tree leaves… Pinky Promise.
Come with me and meet Steph & James, Oskar and Rupert on a sunny windy day at Victoria Park…
Thank you so much for hanging out together. Loved it. xxox
PS: On another note – here is one of my favourite songs with the title “brother”. Do you know it?
